After many years work in the West Indies, a trustee of the Welshpool and Llanfair railway found the locomotive and brought it back to the UK, entering service in Wales in 1977. In the most recent overhaul, Joan has received a new boiler with shorter firebox, and an outside-framed rear ponytruck.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe model depicts the locomotive in its current form, and features a wealth of detailing both inside the cab, and on the frames.
