An update from Wales
Earlier this week we were on the road to deliver new batches of Engineering Miniatures to our friends at the Bala Lake Railway / Rheilffordd Llyn Tegid and Talyllyn Railway. 'Alice' and 'Holy War' were both on the roster, and were gleaming in the autumnal sun at Llanuwchllyn. Despite it's standard gauge heritage, the station still radiates narrow gauge charm, and is well kept by its volunteers. We got a little peek at Bagnall 'Dorothy' in the shed, and hopefully we will be able to create an appropriate miniature once this has been added to the operational fleet.
On Monday we were at Tywyn Wharf, and whilst the weather was decidedly more grey, the sight of Tom Rolt on passenger duties more than brightened the day. We still only have numbers 1, 2 and 4 as miniatures here, but we have made some good progress with the CAD for Sir Haydn recently. Hopefully we will be able to add this and more to our range next year.
