There are a range of chassis available to power you 009 creations. Our kits are powered by mechansims from Kato, Rapido, Bachmann , Miniatrains and Graham Farish, some of which can also be purchased here.

 Some of these mechanisms are available on their own, such as the Rapido Sirdar chassis, whilst others require the purchase of a full donor model. We hope that as the popularity of 009 continues to grow, more manufacturers will make mechansims available for the kit-building community.

If you are a beginner, or not enamoured with chassis work, many fit straight to the kit without modification, such as those from Kato and Rapido. For more experienced kit-builders, the Graham Farish 08 model is necessary for six-wheeled machines, and requires a degree of modification to fit.
