Fourdees Showcase
We have a collection of Fourdees models to showcase today, these all being from the hand of Peter Harris. He's done a beautiful job painted and assembling our Swinhoe, Dolgoch 1866, Pritchard, Peveril, Howrah and Natal kits. They have been painted in a variety of liveries, with Dolgoch and Pritchard also having our Quick Fix Decals added, the latter also having the skirt lining fitted!
We particularly like the Peveril model, in its dark green livery, yellow trims and white roof. The Gelert Bach 'Menncok' in chocolate with red biler bands is quite striking too, and is one we might 'borrow' for future painted samples. All have also had extra personalised touches, such as the nameplates, and also footplate crew, to help bring the models 'to life'.
The models all look suitably at home on Peter's Ashdale layout, with its charming river scenes and cottage (with an envious view of the narrow gauge trains passing by). It's always great to see our models on layouts, and to be able to share them with you.
