Fourdees Showcase
We have one of our Little Pecketts to showcase today, this one beatuifully built and assembled by Jim Whittle. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and whilst weathered locomotives are not everyones' 'cup of tea', we think they can add an extra level of charm as shown here. For those modelling narrow gauge industrial lines (such as the Bowaters, Snailbeach and Furzebrook), the locos were rarely polished, with most engineering time dedicated to keeping them running, rather than looking the part.
Jim's blue livery is already unique, but the heavy weathering creates the look of a hard working machine put to good use by its owners. This model and kit is powered by a Kato 57-201 chassis, and whilst these are presently out of stock, we remain hopeful that another batch will be produced in the not-to-distant future. In the meantime we shall continue to do our best to source new mechanisms to help bring your 009 creations to life.
