Fourdees Showcase
We have a showcase from Down Under to share with you this week. This amazing Peveril model has been 'Americanised' by Steve Pettit, and at first glance we almost did not recognise the base kit. He's done a wonderful job with the additional details including the headlamp, exhaust, horn and bufferbeams.
The striking yellow and grey livery is very typical of similar machines, and will look right at home on Steve's Ocotillo & Lost Mesa RailRoad layout. The weathering he has applied helps to tone down the colours, and the photos here make it difficult to identify the scale! We get many requests for models depicting US prototypes, and these have not been ignored. Hopefully we can share something new for these modellers in the not too distant future...
