Fourdees Showcase - A bigger Sirdar...
We have a slightly bigger Sirdar to showcase today, this time from Andrew Young on his 7mm Melyn Valley Railway. This kit has been beautifully painted, lined and weathered in black, with plumbing and fittings picked out in appropriate metallic paints. Andrew has used the decals provided with the kit, which suit the chosen livery, and he's taken some really eye catching photographs
His keen eye for weathering has been extended to the donor Bachmann NG7 chassis, which unify the two main component parts. The locomotive looks at home on Andrewe's layout, pulling a pair of Corris style bogie carriages, which have been equally well painted, assembled and lined.
