Hudswellsand Milton Tests
Even though the printers are busy with restocks at the moment, we've still found time to run off some test prints for new models. As previously announced, the Hudswell Clarke models 'Bacillus' and 'Kanaka' have been converted and upgraded to fit the Rapido Trains Sirdar chassis. Shown here in our new resin, and we are pretty happy with these first tests. Following on from our release models, the entire backhead and cab tanks/bunkers have been made separate pieces for ease of painting. We are hopeful that these will be ready to release later this month.
Also off the machine today is our previously announced 'Milton' model. This was originally designed to showcase the possibilities of the Cranmore chasssis, but such was the buzz around this particular design that we have accelerated it up the design queue. Shown here on the Sirdar chassis, which it will also fit, we think it looks very quirky. This model is completely new, and requires a bit more testing than the Hudswells (including a painted sample and transfers to create) so look for this model to arrive some time in October.
