Sir Arthur added to the O9 range
We have added a new loco to our O9 range this week. 'Sir Arthur' is an 0-4-0T+T representing a minimum gauge locomotive of freelance design, inspired by larger machines by Hudswell Clarke. The driving situation is similar to the scaled down replicas running on the Fairbourne and Barmouth and Ruislip Lido Railways, with the driver seated in the tender (with feet in the well).
The model can be motorised using a Rapido Trains Sirdar chassis, and includes a wealth of detail that can be acheived by resin prints in 7mm. We have replicated our NG7 models with clear resin gauge glasses that fit the valves on the highly detailed firebox component. Tender wheels are included, along with a static chassis.
The first batch of these kits is now available to order on our website for £59.99 (+ postage), with the decal set shown on the painted sample available for £7.00. 'Sir Arthur' has been quietly waiting release for over a year now, but we have another O9 model to share with you next time that was a much more recent development...
