We've gone Cranmore Crazy!
We didn't want the 7mm community to feel left out by the latest announcement from Rapido, and so we've produced an all-new kit of the Peckett and Sons locomotive 'Gamecock'. Following on from our first NG7 releases, this model has been redesigned in full using original drawings from the Peckett and Sons archive. There is not an enlargement of old CAD, and so much greater detailing and finesse has been added to all areas of the model, only possible in this larger scale.
The cab interior is one of the most detailed we have ever created, including full representation of all pipework and controls. As with our previous NG7 locomotive releases, the gauge glasses are in clear resin, and lamps are also included to fit if desired. The saddle is a separate component to ensure the best possible finish in production.
The model is designed to fit the Bachmann NG& Quarry Hunslet chassis, and includes a full cab rear sheet which helps to distinguish it from our other releases. We did produce an open-rear variant in the design stage, and can be produced to order if preferred. Lining transfers are also included, to help replicate the finish shown on our painted sample here.
