These models are all designed to be powered using a Kato 57-201 mechanism.

We produce a range of freelance models designed to fit this kit, from some inspired by similar machines from manufacturers such as Peckett, Bagnall and Baldwin. The chassis requires little or no modification to fit in most cases, other than clipping a ponytruck or tender drawbar to the rear pivot.

These chassis are currently out of stock and out of production. The chassis can only currently be sourced from a PECO / KATO England donor model (Prince, Princess, Welsh Pony and Palmerston). Alternatively, second hand units may be available from online auction sites or similar.
