KATO 57-201 Chassis

This power unit includes a die-cast split frame chassis for improved electrical pickup, and coreless motor with flywheel to ensure smooth slow-speed operation. Made in Japan.

These are currently out of stock and out of production. The chassis can only currently be sourced from a PECO / KATO England donor model (Prince, Princess, Welsh Pony and Palmerston). Alternatively, second hand units may be available from online auction sites or similar.

We hope that KATO / PECO will produce a new batch at some point soon, but as of yet, there is no anticipated delivery date.
