This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old.
This 4-Wheel Closed Compartment Carriage (Third Class) is ready-to-run, and matches four other vehicles in the same range. They are kindly produced for us by PECO, with the base model inspired by the four-wheel vehicles which used to run on the Glyn Valley Tramway.
This exclusive model carries an attractive gold-lined brown and cream livery, typical of those carried by narrow gauge railways in the late 1800s. But they would not look at of place on a model railway representing a post preservation scene. Door handles are picked out in brass, with drop windows in Indian red. Compartments also carry class designations.
The model has NEM pockets fitted with GR-502 couplings and comes in the standard PECO plastic display box.
These models are currently out of stock, but we are taking pre-orders for those interested in starting (or adding to) their collection. We aim to have more of these available later in 2026.

These models are hand-built and hand-painted kit assemblies, not to be directly compared with mass-produced models maufactured overseas. They feature incredibly high levels of detail, but are fragile, so additional care should be taken with instructions followed carefully.
If the model develops a fault inside the first three months, contact us to discuss the issue so we can try to repair the item. These are the final models left, so there may not be any replacements available.
