These models all require a Bachmann Trains Percy mechanism in order to motorise the kit.

This chassis provides the power for a range of freelance and prototypical models, particularly from Bagnall and Orrenstein and Koppel. The chassis can be fitted with little modification (other than removing the Percy bodyshell), but for the more experiences/adventures kit-builder, we supply a valve-gear kit with which to upgrade the chassis.

Whilst we do not currently stock the donor models, these are available from other model railway retailers. We recommend purchasing from the Talyllyn Railway shop, as every sale they make helps to keep the little trains running.
